Now that we have moved into our new home and are back from our crazy vacation we took just 3 days after moving in… ( ha I know it was nuts! ) I am beginning to settle in to our new space and dreaming up new rhythms and habits for our family. The backyard is just magical and right now in the spring time weather, a snack time back yard picnic is the perfect activity to bridge the gap between getting home from pre-school and dinner time. The kids are hardly watching TV these days because they are so enthralled with the new backyard and their new freedom in the outdoors. I hope to make backyard picnics a staple of our spring and summer routines – and what better to serve than their all-time fave foods – yogurt with berries and popcorn. 🙂
I give them the FAGE Total 5% whole milk Greek yogurt and throw on a handful of blueberries. As you can see they are quite the little yogurt monsters. I love it because June actually eats enough to get full and it will hold her over till dinner time and even till the next morning if she refuses to eat what I’ve made for dinner ( we are still in the thick of toddler pickiness over here ) FAGE Total Greek yogurt has been a staple in our house for years, and when they reached out to ask us to showcase how we use it in our everyday lives – it was a no brainer.
See my previous yogurt bark recipe post for the perfect healthy dessert. Literally takes 5 min to make!
